  Here  is a few of our club rules and etiquette

   

  1. tackling is only allowed when opponent is attempting a crucial game winning putt
  2. mulligans allowed if ball is with in 10 yards of hole or closer.
  3. all trail carts must have at least a 250 HP or higher power plant.
  4. when playing a 2 or more player game, green markers for balls must be smaller than a 2' x 2' in size. cardboard boxes of ruling size are acceptable
  5. hockey sticks may be used in lieu of putters
  6. hockey pucks may used in lieu of balls.
  7. hockey players may be used in lieu of golfers
  8. hockey pads may only be used by person attempting a putt (SEE rule  # 1)
  9. rhinestone studded red cowboy boots must be worn when wearing long trousers.
  10. trousers must be tucked neatly into rhinestone studded red cowboy boots
  11. must yell "YEE-HA" randomly at least 3 times per hole played
  12. the member of a multi-player game that buys the most alcohol at club house is automatically declared winner regardless of score.
  13. hitting the head of another player with ball on another fairway during tee-off is considered a hole-in-one.
  14. if ball from another fairway lands near your area of play, you must stick their ball in crotch of the nearest tree and inform the other player of its whereabouts and also remind them of the" play it from where it lies" rule.
  15. absolutely NO THROWING HAMBURGERS.  
  16. Using a frisbee to cover hole during opponents crucial game winning putt is only allowed if frisbee color clashes with putting green color.
  17. Final scores must only be a "prime" number
  18. Attempting to stuff a  bowling ball into any hole may result in expulsion from course.
  19. during bad weather play, if lightning bolts come at frequency of 5 per minute or more, all players on course must hold up any of allowed clubs and yell "BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL...I HAVE THE POWER" [special note on rule 19]: Hockey sticks in this situation are not considered legal clubs]
  20. If attempting to tackle member that is putting and said putting member avoids the tackle, the putt has to be moved in any direction away from the hole at least 2 club lengths. [special note on rule 20]: Hockey sticks in this situations are considered legal clubs]

   

   

  So there ya have it...the basic rules of of Island Park C.C.

  Looking to up our membership numbers in the club.  All tiers welcome.  We run pay out tournaments and free tournaments that are for all levels of play.   We are laid back and  relaxed.

  We are still looking for members.. We are at around 30 from over 200...I decided to cull the herd for lack of attendance.  We run multiple tournaments weekly....some to improve score and some to test the limits.  we alo run a variety of tourney's with a PAY TO ENTER and I usually throw in a 100 or so credits to sweeten the pot

  Still looking for new members.  We run a number of free tournaments, also credits to enter tourneys w/ entry fee from 5 credits on up.

  Our club tourney's  range from easy settings to hard settings  so lower your average or test your skills with the variety of hole locations, pin locations and green speeds.
