    I see the count is at 45 players, less than half for last years, tourney, and, can't help but wonder if that doesn't reflect the number of players lost due to the new format. On the up side, I see a lot of familiar names with which it will be an honor to participate again.

    i think its 46 for match and 51 for stroke right now , usually get a few last minute stragglers, but yeah signup is way down for sure

    Well guess i will start off the qualifying 8 bird and a bogey (rest pars) i shot a -7 65

    Hard to stand out at Torrey Pines with a putter cold as ice!

    Quite an experience to finish the Front 9 with an 'E', digesting 2 bogeys.

    Back 9 saw me recovering a bit, yet still missing a 3- and a 4-footer. The Eagle on 18 felt like balm for the battered soul. -6 for a final score of  66.

    Can only get better :)

    Glad to have found some cally's in my bag and card a bogey free 65.
