can someone explain how one can reach master tier  at level 90+ and have a scoring avg of 150 but beat me like a drum in the coin rooms with me at scoring avg of 67?  I understand how the scoring avg is calculated but you have to play ranked rounds to move up tier. right?

WGT has a separate set of criteria (based in part on levels) to tier players up who play only coin games. I once saw a Tour Champion with only 6 ranked rounds.

What all the criteria are and how they are related to tiering up coin players, no one (outside of WGT) knows.

Bottom line is that, for coin players, average is totally irrelevant and not indicative of player's ability at all.

    They exist!
Going further, the 150 avg. mentioned above points to "no ranked rounds at all".

WGT still can't get control of the cheating in here, sad.

So basically . Coin game count for Coin game players who play it exclusively . But not for anyone else .

I think they count for everyone.

I know of at least one player who plays both coin games and ranked rounds.  He was promoted to Champion after only 60-something ranked rounds at TL.  So his performance in coin games was obviously the primary factor in his being promoted, but it was not the only factor.
