Congressional......once again the back 9 saved me. 4 under after 9 followed by a 7 under back 9.

Another disappointing round for me this week. 1 under 70 at Congressional.
4 under through 10 and I was starting to think I might break out of my slump, but then 3 bogeys and a double bogey on the next 5 holes dashed all hopes.
This was my bizzaro round. A horrific start including a lip-out double bogey left me 3 over after 3 holes. Fought back to even par by the end of the front 9. Then -5 on the back 9 with 2 chip ins from just off the greens for a total of 66. I've never finished a round that well that I started so poorly.
60 for me at Congo this week. I guess that's not too bad, but I feel like a few close misses kept me from a great round. I counted 4 YGBFKM's on what I considered to be make-able putts. Ah well. Life goes on.
just finished my game on congresnal hit a 67 few lipped out but happy with that score JJ
A real nothing round of 69 for me at Congressional this week. It just never really got going at all & when it did it stalled pretty quickly. A bogey on 3 & got it back on 6 & then birds on 8 & 9 to turn at 2 under saw some light but that was extinguished with bogeys on 12 & 13 (lipped out par putt). A couple of birds on 14 & 16 put me in the red but felt like a total waste of a round really. On we move to next week hoping for a change in fortunes.
65 for me.
Made a few putts that were lucky; unfortunately, missed a few more than that which I should have made. No water, no bogeys. Just a whole bunch of 2-putts.
Is it too late to join now or should I wait for the season opener..
