Videos with ID's starting with certain letters don't work at WGT Miantiao.

This has been an issue for over 4 years now WGT!

Cheers Scott for the corrected upload.

My favourite Queen track and sci-fi movie. Very relevant in the modern world as it was in the 80s as an analogy for cruel totalitarianism, ideological brainwashing, and the greater good of humanity.

Ive been back almost a month because Ive got bugger all on, and thought I'd play a bit before the end of WGT.

They're making it a pain in the bum for Flash players from the latest update till the end of of Flash. RIP

Here's an appropriate Chinese saying to describe the PCEA version:

    掛羊頭賣狗肉

They need to add the YouTube video activator to the editor.

I don't know if that would correct things Paul. The embedding script is bugged.

The reason the video does not play is because the video ID does not have the required 11 characters.

Miantiao posted his video with this URL...

    https://youtu.be/
    w4yqm2rmWks

...which is fine, nothing wrong with that at all.

But when he posted his message, the underlying script took that URL and put it into an iframe (html element) to show as a playable video.

Here is the code for that iframe element...

    <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/
    4yqm2rmWks
    ?rel=0&amp;color=white" width="440" height="248" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>

...if you look at the two ID's that I've highlighted, you should be able to see a difference. That missing 'w' is the reason the video throws up an error when you try to play it, the ID has been mangled by the video embedding script.

This will happen to any video whose ID begins with a 'w','a','t','c','h' or 'v' (upper or lowercase).

Maybe I didn't make myself clear.

WGT's video embedding script is bugged.
