Apparently reading comprehension is not a strong suit.

That’s a load of rubbish! I was made a Master at 50 and a tour master at 70 with no ranked rounds and an average of 150! I don’t want to become a Leg end!

Not a load of rubbish.  The advice given is not talking about playing mostly coin games.  It about making it to Tour Legend by playing ranked rounds.  Since mobile came out, it has mostly made a farce out of this game.  But I guess we have to appease the kids.(the ones with an attention span of a piss ant)

Here go look at this, it might explain some things to you.

    Apparently, Robert's explanation didn't help.

Robert will let others continue to try. Robert did his best.

    My compassion is with Robert!

I'm resurrecting this post because a lot of players spoke with such conviction, and yet couldn't be more wrong.

I was promoted to Tour Pro with an average of 72 I think because I came second in a weekly tournament.  I was promoted to Master 3 days later with an average of 69.  I was promoted to Tour Master with a average of 67.5 after shooting low in a tournament. At this time I'd never played a Ready Go.  I entered 2 RG's and was promoted to Legend with an average of 65.5 the very next day.

So the information about "how it works" is plain wrong.  And if the info is how it is actually supposed to work then it is broken badly.

The real issue is competition.  Golf is a competitive game.  I felt I could compete and did so.  I spent around $40 per week to do so.  Now I can't.  I'm struggling to shoot par.  I'm on old retired fart and have relied on slow meter high forgiveness clubs with expensive balls.  The next set of clubs for me is level 94.  The WGT "system" has successfully stopped me from winning $10 per week by removing the incentive to spend $40 per week.  I fail to see how this works out for anyone?
