This is driving me to despair - am i right in thinking the only way to get it close is to pitch 30 yards short and roll it over the mound close to the bunker and hope for the best? Or do you try to fly the green and hit the mound and hope for a fortunate bounce? I'm either in the bunker or through the back of the green 90% of the time.

Full 5I w/ backspin tends to do the job.  Depending on the wind you'd need to aim anywhere from the middle between the flagstick and the left fringe to near the left fringe.  When it's not being random it's gonna be a good shot and should end up within 20 feet.  It should bounce on the very front of the apron or just in the fairway and roll up over the hump and down to the hole.

    Good Luck

OMG!!!   Great tip.   Just tried it, put it 3.49!!!   Of course I managed to mess up the rest of the holes, but, THAT hole has been driving me nuts for weeks!!

    Thanks for the info

Put the cursor on the ball at the bottom right of the screen and pull the dot down to the bottom.   It's adjustable for more or less backspin.   Give it a try
