better irons are more important than a putter.....i got to 54 avg [ no red tee comps] using begginners putter....i changed putter last year to a high end putter but i dont believe it has changed my putting drasticly....better irons high trajectory will get you closer to the pins with more stopping power....this will bring your avg down.....not a new putter......
