This thread is not a good read for the surprisingly high number of players that have no problems with PCEA . And act as though they are in a love affair .

Too much BS to quote all of it . I will try to point out some good highlights .

    wedge0837:
Lots of posts on this topic in this thread, I will add my 2cents to it.

Glad to have it . So much rings true . To me . Anything that doesn't . Is fine with me . I will leave those to these guys . Who will pick it apart and try and discredit your remarks .

    Wutpa:
Personally I still have a lot of fun playing this game and yet I have absolutely nothing to do with any coin games. They don't interest me in the slightest so I stay away from them, and as such that side of WGT play barely impinges on my consciousness. But each to their own.

      Cool .

    DodgyPutter:
Could it not be that he is saying the chat feature is more awkward in the new version and he has no interest in solving this by downloading something like Discord?

      Nice . A lone positive perspective .

    PRIESTESS:
Spot on. People get used to getting rolled over I guess. No clash now. Read about a bug in the showdown which costs a player 3 shots. Don't worry you get the entry fee back if it happens to you. Alt shot status looks like its not fixable seeing as they have had months to fix it. No uneven lie comps. Today I got a bright white light flash, before chat was active, quite bad I  might add.

Good reports on the imperfections .

    SamSpayed:

Well, according to his Activity page, he's still playing and looking for a "large active Club with lots of inside games".

Another player and I tried to help him with Discord outside of these forums.  Unfortunately, he was not bright enough to figure it out.  I imagine he gave up in frustration.

      Really Sam ?

    Wutpa:
Well he joined a large club yesterday (March 20), so maybe that'll give him what he needs for more frequent multiplayer action. He'd likely find it helpful to have more than his current two friends for that though.

This is good . With a large CC like that . A very good chance he will have many more good experiences .

From a game-playing view. PCEA almost equals Flash once we make adjustments.  The meter is smoother, but a little harder to read sideways shift.

From a communication standpoint, PCEA is a disaster.  Our availability (or inavailablity) is impossible to decipher.  Those who like AS and match play are screwed.  We get into a multi player game, we show green and get invites we cannot accept.

We try invite players, but they are green and they refuse. (They would prefer to be red and not invited.)

I was trying to set up an AS game this evening.  We finally got it going, but 5 players that I had invited and declined (they were in a game) invited me while I was in the game that got started.  This is nonsense.

We cannot say why we are declining except "in a game", "no" (which is rude), or "later".

    Obvious fixes if WGT cares:

    1. Restore blue/green/red system on availability.

    2. Add the option we used to have on why we are declining the game.  I used to be able to say back in 3 minutes, current game ends in 2 minutes, etc,

    Tom.

My playing preference but I do hope they fix this issue soon and I don't understand why they don't come here and tell us something. As a side note I do fine some A/S games but mostly on the weekends only for some reason.

Since i cannot play one hole now to get my dailly points i play chelsea .

    Just as quick .

Mostly pro's and masters but they still manage to beat me getting 100 yards start of the tee .

But they are so slow . 45 seconds to line up each shot and sometimes more .

That's because they have been playing mobile . Almost as long as we have played PC .

Slow ? Lol . I can barely get a shot off in 45 seconds . I probably DQ in 20% of my coin games . 2 timeouts is all one gets .

Granted . It is usually because of a long text . More times than not having enough time to shoot .
