    WigerToods2010:

    Loving this thread.

Totally relate to the stories from Robert & others re our mutt's claiming our own favourite chair. Mine's will happily lay sleeping on my oversized swivel chair until such times that I actually sit in her spot on the settee, then she just gives me the 'move' look.

Also, why is it she's apparently getting a bit mutt & jeff, yet whenever I open the fridge door she appears instantly right at my side looking up with the puppy dog eyes on???

She's getting on now @ 13 dog years but, despite recently being diagnosed with having a serious heart murmur, still thinks she's (like us all) a teenager!

Here's Sasha quite literally having a ball...

    👍

Wonderful dog, best pal, biscuit stealer extraordinaire.

Daddy's doggy pal / Mummy's baby... absolutely distraught here.

Everything good I learned in life, came from watching dogs...

The rest? Well, we are all children of our environments. *The Corn* if you will

    Very few humans deserve dogs

Sounds like you & your wife were a couple of privileged folks Johnny. Good on you guys

Nothing ever really dies, if we continue to honor their memories.

    empty vessel.

One wins a prize ( pick  ) and the other is a hole in our heart,s .

Family is one thing but a pet is another , and then there is friends , some you might  know face to face and others who only post a note on the interwebs in a "game" that passed  away from it once was .

In a way we all know that the course plays different from the front 9 and that back , its not a shame to have to have our time here and watch the change of what once was ,

The " Vessel "  is never empty .  So long as we remember .
