... I'm doing a little research on a few things online when I cam upon a very strange link to the site ""www.dvdracks.net".  Be very careful as it appears to bring you to the initial intro page of WGT and in a secure browser, I tested some of the links which caused every security program I have running to go totally ape-***!

More than anything, I'd hate for someone to log in using a phishing site, especially if their credit card info is being stored!

Hope this helps to keep folks from having to deal with the B.S.!

Have a good one & take care...

... To add to that, I have  premium version of McAfee which I submitted that specific url for testing.  If it is a "dangerous or false" url, they'll mark it as such.

Thanks.  We checked into this and it does not appear to be any kind of phishing attempt.  The owner of that site is simply pointing visitors to our homepage.  However, this is not an endorsed url so please do not continue to visit our site from that url.  Use www.wgt.com instead.

I noticed that, was looking up coolhotfun on google and there was dvdracks.net urls looking like mirrors of wgt. Thought it was a phishing scam. You'd think wgt would shut these guys down.

was looking up wgt from only dvdracks.net:

     Results 1 - 100 of about 213 from dvdracks.net for wgt. (0.22 seconds)

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&num=100&q=site%3Advdracks.net+wgt&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

if you go to dvdracks.net it looks exactly like the wgt.com. I go to click play from there and the popup window has this

    http://dvdracks.net/register.aspx?gameID=undefined

why are these people mirroring stuff from wgt and why is wgt not stopping them?

i guess they're more interested in Optimizing Your WGT Experience than handling phishing mirror sites. Wow, what a failed business model around here. Maybe they should take a tip about when everybody bailed out of myspace to facebook because of phishing in 06? Next better golfing site that also has realistic averages, you know where the exodus 'll be to... but for an exodus, you'd need a player base first. Too bad they can't get their act together to figure out how to round 'em up. Been a couple years so draw that chart to how things 'll be around here in the future.
