    The real reason for the ladies' acrimony has nothing to do with the present thread or football, but with this failed prediction made by Brandi35 in the inoffensive "Offensive" thread 2 days ago:

    Haha, I enjoyed your arguments about football (though it got a bit nasty towards the end).

    I´m sorry for you guys, but the most important country in the world will have to end up opening to the rest of the world sportwise and, unfortunately, you will be winning the "soccer" world cup in 20 or 30 years time, whether you like it or not. Had to say it :), I´ll go off now before I get a blow from someone.

    I clearly and repeatedly said I find such pictures ridiculously inappropriate. You seem unable to make a forum post without making a nasty jab at persons who disagree with you in one way or another.

    Well Ellis thxs for asking. After 13 weeks we have some excellent records for the spread league.Thanks to all that have contionued their play throughout the season. This is a points league so as the football fans who know about "Spreads" know it is not an easy job.

    In 6th place yours truly at 87-89..trying for .500 this week

    5.Snake Eyes  90-86

    4 kosei82         91-85

    3 Iconian Asskickers  95-81

    2. Skipman      98-78

    1.  mooks picks  109-67  great job  you should work in Las Vegas
