Surely we are the true greats of WGT?

It is tough playing from these master tees with starter clubs.

Why must me buy clubs to compete ...surely this is grossly unfair?

One question, would you try to qualify for the Open Championship with your 30 year old hand-me-down clubs? (you know... the ones where the woods are actually made out of wood!)  If you want to compete, you need to keep up with the rest.  Plain and simple.

If you don't want to compete, then just have fun trying to figure out how to better your best.... Isn't that what golf is all about anyways?

I'm a starter club master but I'm on Lee's side. I can compete with these though. I don't have a credit card and don't want one. I'm letting my tournie credits buy my clubs.

Becuase I'm a great putter and I know how to grind it out. You hit the fairways then play to your regular yardage.Clubs that you are confident with. Hit it close and save par on holes that aren't birdie hole. I can't shoot 29's But I can shoot mistake free 31's and 32's.
