  I am one of those that like playing par 5s....Not sure why but I do.  I do think they could do with a refresh but the par 5 concept I like.  High winds especially it can be a bit too much of a lottery but I like it:)..........I would also say better players tend to take their chances more often than poor players when you look at the L Boards.

  I used them to speed through L92 for the Black R1...........I still hate any BoP3 design, but others like it same as I like par 5s

  Personally, I don't like the Bof 3's or 5's.....well I have never played the par three course or Bandon........

  I did like the old B of Par 4's - now that course was a challenge, with very few easy holes.

  Current one is OK, but significantly easier.

  As pointed out, the game appears to be in decline....getting EH was good, but took 2 steps back after losing Oakmont.

  Tweaking best of's will not encourage players to play more, they are just a stop gap when you get bored of the same old.....
