  Black is a great course and we respect it, but having to hit a fairway 275 yards away with 10mph wind against us impossible, i dont want it to be easy but surely it should be made so we can actually attack the course, im not being able to reach so im having to lay up on par 4's, and why is there a par 4 longer than a par 5? thanks

  Totally agree.....even if you hit perfect shot off tee, you're still in deep rough. Or, do you have to now upgrade clubs to be able to make it playable?

  Pretty much have to upgrade as the sign says for highly skilled golfers, the best clubs help. I'm getting more used to the Taylors with every hit. I do appreciate the new challenge.

  went around in 77 my first try. left a few out there played pretty much all the par 4s as 5s and laid up to a full 70m to give myself a best chance at a 4. made some good up and downs. Hit 11 fairways, 4 greens and 29 putts.

  I upgraded and they still only give you about 10 extra yards and you have to lay up on 4 or so par 4s. I shot 79 and that was playing pretty well scrambling. I don't expect for the course to be easy but at least let the upgrades get it where you can reach Par 4s.
