Just thought I would share a bit, ladies and gentlemen, on what I consider a pretty damn good day...
- Sent the wife and kids (and friends) off to the local amusement park so I could have the house to myself...
- Got in 18 holes this morning and did a bit better than average (local muni)
- Watched Lewis Hamilton take the F1 Canadian Grand Prix
... and then three bits of news regarding the World Cup that just made my day
- The powers that be are looking at banning those gawdawful noise makers
- England is basically in mourning, almost like someone in the Royal Family died, with that tie with the yanks
- Australia got their ass handed to them by the Germans..
Which means that we shouldn't have to hear a freakin peep from the 'soccer honks' for a few days.
Yep... a glorious day indeed. At it's only 1415... still have a lot of Sunday yet to go.
