In 1964, Guinness attempted to have beer officially recognised as a food for tax reasons. They failed..

    It's got hops. It's got barley. It's a meal. .

it’s kind of like drinking a steak .

I'm sure I seen somewhere that Canadians drink more Guinness than the Irish do .

I lived on the stuff for 3 days when in Dublin .

How wonderful that we have met with a paradox. Now we have some hope of making progress..

A paradox a day keeps certainties at bay .

The botanist Edward Salisbury once managed to grow 300 plants from the debris he’d collected in his trouser turn-ups .

Should have seen what he got from his belly button fluff….

    Twenty different species of weeds..

A weed is just a flower in the wrong place .

If the average person’s blood vessels were laid end to end they would reach around the Earth almost two and a half times (60,000 miles).

You just step on one vessel and roll the person along, but like tape it's hard to find the end.

If the folds of the cerebeller cortex (gyrus) were laid flat it would cover one half of a tennis court (which would give you a distinct advange over your opponent as they would struggle for grip).
