The Dutch for drinking beer with a spirit chaser is ‘kopstoot’, meaning ‘head butt’.

Isn’t the beer the chaser ? Shot first, beer second ?

In an experiment run by the University of Zurich, 98% of the people tested were happy to take money from larger groups of people, but the same individuals tended to be fair when dealing with just one other person..

This really explains so much about the times we find ourselves in now. .

Yeah, individuals can say some rather unpleasant stuff to you, post them online, imply mama is a Llama, punch you in the face...it is safer with the anonymity provided by large groups..

In 1984, Tim Macartney-Snape climbed Everest, but his mate Michael Dillon said 'you've only done the top part, technically', so he went back and started from sea level to prove a point..

I used to work for Tim! Here’s a fun detail: Tim didn’t just start at sea level. He jumped off the boat in the Bay of Bengal, swam to shore, and then hiked (via a fairly indirect route) to Everest Basecamp. Also, he did both climbs without supplemental oxygen .

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this..

They are bidding their time and will bring doom on all the non-believers..

Two-thirds of the universe’s predicted quantity of lithium is missing and no-one knows where it is. This is known as the ‘cosmological lithium problem’.

All the universe’s hydrogen and most of its helium were produced in the first 20 minutes after the Big Bang .
