  • Re: Poll: Which tees would you play from if you could choose?

I would score better from the pro tees since putting is my weakness.

  • Re: toughest holes

If you mean more difficult than Kiawah as it is set up on WGT then I agree. Having played several of those courses I can tell you that Kiawah is not set up as difficult as it plays. As far as tournament courses, Kaiwah does not lend itself well to a PGA tourney because of the limited viewing areas and the fact that much of the course is on the dunes

  • Re: When does WGT blink out?

While I think that the time line is a WAG, the facts are that the numbers don't add up. Having worked with many venture capitalists in the past, I can't see where they will get the funding to continue past mid 2010. I believe that I have seen the number of $250K just to photograph the sites for one course. Add that on top of the development

  • Re: Replays and Stats in Match Play

Yeah I understand the concept but it is a little frustrating. I can see how not using scoring, fairways and greens in regulation, putting etc. would not be used. I do think that long drives, putts, flagsticks, eagles and hole in ones should show up but we play with what they give us. I was pretty happy to make a hole in one and on #8 at Kiawah with

  • Re: toughest holes

I guess that Oppy and I will have to agree to disagree on BPB. The fact that we are playing this course on the game and have a number of holes that can't be reached in regulation tell you that something is not correct. Open conditions give you great green speed and difficult rough but they also give you firm and closely mowed greens, granted they

  • Re: Master Tier is Killing Me

My average has moved from 65 to 71 since I moved up. I don't play as much in stroke play since Match Play was put in and it shows. It is difficult to get used to the new landing areas, etc. but it is more challenging as well.

  • Re: Hacks Playing Match Play

Well my opinion is that they need to play before they dive into match play. They cant improve their score or rank by match play and I still believe that until they advance to at least amateur they shouldn't play match play.

  • Replays and Stats in Match Play

Playing a match yesterday and recorded my first true ace in play. I have made a few in CTTP but never during normal play. Hit a perfect shot on #8 at the Ocean Course and it curled into the cup. Alas no replay available for me to record it and it didn't count on my Stats. I understand that stats on match play can be a little issue, since you don't

  • Hacks Playing Match Play

In the last few weeks, it seems that everytime I try to join a group or set up a group for match play, I am joined by a Hack with a 150 average. I think that the WGT should not allow match play by anyone who has not at least progressed to the amateur level. It is not always the players fault, they don't realize that the match play doesn't count

  • Re: 100 Flagsticks hit

Like all great golfers, I get my yardage in 1/2 yard increments and I always aim 1/2 yard to the low side of the pin so I will have an uphill putt and not take the chance of a perfect shot being ruined by the pin....I guess that I could take it out of the cup but that would be a lot of work for my caddie. J/K I think I'm at 13 or so.
