hmm i would be happy to pay for extra courses. kinda like a greenfee just to get more variety. the advantage WGT has over console or PC games is, it can support way more courses since there is only so much space on a DVD.

  • Re: US OPEN QUALIFIER

ok i have to admit the regular driver leaves you at the mercy of the wind, so i coughed up 7 bucks and got me a nice shiny big a## driver :) hey i know it's a fortune but well invested ;). i still only managed a 71, i guess we just have to accept that this is one hell of a golf course.

  • Re: US OPEN QUALIFIER

thanks WGT guys!!! ok, love the bethpage course but: if you dont have luck with the wind there are several fairways you simply cant reach even with a perfect drive. i hit a perfect Ping-drive and a perfect 3wood on the 18th against an 11mph wind and ended up in the front green bunker. no offense but if you cant hit at least 250-280 with your driver

  • Re: WHAT A JOKE !!!!!!

some forgot to mention that it also depends on your connection. i have a nasty firewall which makes the progress bar kinda choppy at times, making it extremely diffiult to hit perfect shots.

  • Re: Week 15 Back Nine Tournament - Disqualified

thank you well it makes kinda sense that way, so it's back to the tee now and working on that short game :)
  • Re: Week 15 Back Nine Tournament - Disqualified

i wasn't disqualified in the week 15 tournament but actually finished 2nd. my winnings were 41 cents. is that normal? no offense but i shot the nine holes of my life and got 41 cents. if so then i guess i gotta keep playing a lot more :D. but thanks anyways
  • general question

how long does it take you guys to build an entire course? i love this game for the fact that you get to see all these wonderful courses, but why not feature them even more with maybe a fly-over camera, to marvel at their beauty. oh and how about featuring some gems that we mere mortals will never be able to play, like augusta national or pine valley
