Today i played the most amazing match ever in my WGT-carrer with Flocke2308. We both signed in for the German Masters SD Championchip which was announced on www.germangolf.de as a private organized WGT-Tournament. First round we have to play on "The Ocean Course" of Kiawah Island. At the beginning of our first match - both recognize that we live in the same City :) Lovely Munich - Capital of Bavaria. Almost my neighbor. The clubs could be freely chose; and i see after first Teeshot of Flocke2308 wat a powerfull driver the Taylor Made R9 TP Master 8.5° Driver is. Must be fighting with every second shot to equalize the distance to the hole.

Unfortunately, here you can not see exactly how exciting it was. every fight was striking book. Yard by yard when teeing off, walking at the foot of the second shots and inch by inch with the puts.

First 2 holes both played same result. I was surprisingly on the third hole in leadership with a nice birdie. Flo was followed shocked and ran a bogey on the fourth hole. My pulse was now twice as high. I led to a MASTER! 2 strokes in leadership. unbelievable, how can this be?

After a nice par Flocke2308 had recovered and was able, with two consecutive birdies to offset again. The tension continued to rise and my pulse too! Only 2 holes, I thought. Play up. Give everything. Fight for your life!

We both played a par on the eighth hole. With high voltage, we started the ninth hole.... and Flocke2308 started with the tee. Here you can see where he landed. With a beautiful rescue shock Flocke2308 was able to free himself from the sand.

I made my second shot onto the green a little too short and had a long putt for birdie. My hands were wet. My heart was beating like crazy. It was the all-important putt on the last hole. I could do it. I had only this to sink a long putt 20 feet. Unfortunately, the green was hard to read and I could not. The par was sure, but Flocke2308 was able to play Par. Sun had been killed in this round no decision. We both played two under par with 34 strokes. Well done.



The tournament rules for now followed by a Sudden death. *Thats the SD in German Masters*
Same place, same bat. Who will win the first hole - wins the match.

And so we went into sudden death.
First hole - Match Play - Flocke2308 played a clean birdie and decided in a short process, the entire first round between us two. A master's just not for nothing that a master. If it matters, he still has a reserve!



I thank Flocke2308 for the best game of my life in my WGT-career. I  hope you made it so much fun as me :)

First Time i reached the Green at Hole 15 with my second attempt. *yes, i was happy :-)*
Here you could have a look for my laydown .... really a nice view! But unfortunately, an impossible task for me. I need 2 more putts and finished a Bogey at this hole.

On a great fall afternoon i played my first 5 Par under and finished with a 65 on Bethpage Black. Could be a little better, 'cause it was not a Bogey-Free-Round. I'm really satisfied and my AVG Score dropped down under 70! Today its 69.74. That's great *for me* ;-)

 I love it :-) But i'm still "only" a PRO. Hope to get a MASTER soon!

I started very nice... just have a look on my scoreboard for the first 4 holes :)

... but unfortuantely the following holes 5 and 6 i dropped two times the bunker.
The record is not mine :( Keep on playing and waiting for my success :)
