I played just 9 holes today (golfpinehills.net) in very wet conditions, but still no hole-in one.  But that’s o.k.  I’m just happy to be healthy and I’ll keep trying as long as I can. 

I think with that great 6.5 index you will eventually get one.  The lowest handicap I ever had was 11 (that was before the days of slope, rating and index).  Now I vary between 17.x (when most of my posted scores are in good weather) and 22.x (when most are in bad weather).    

The closest I ever did come to a hole-in-one though was a couple of inches.  That was years ago.  Once my ball actually hit the hole and was deflected a little and came to rest about 8 feet past (I can’t recall if I made the birdie putt).
