  • Day 3 Update from President’s Cup

    18 Nov 2011

The 2012 President's Cup has proven to be an exciting tournament so far, on a beautiful and very challenging course!

Held at The Royal Melbourne Golf Course in Australia, 12 of the finest golfers from the USA and 12 of the top international golfers outside of Europe have competed for the past three days in heated matches.

After the Day 3 morning Foursomes, the USA leads the tournament with 11 points over the International team's 6 points. The Day 3 afternoon Four-Ball matches start next, and then the final 12 Singles matches on Day 4. The USA has built a sizable lead so the Internationals will need a big rally.

Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson are the stand-out stars from the USA team with a 3-0 record, defeating Ernie Els and Ryo Ishikawa in matches on Days 1 and 2, and Robert Allenby and Geoff Ogilvy on Day 3.

Tune in on Saturday, November 19, at 6:30 P.M. ET for coverage of the final day. To view the latest news on The President's Cup, follow us on Twitter for updates @worldgolftour and visit PGATour.com for updates.
