Per an official WGT email to this author:

    WGT:
....we don't want posts that single out and antagonize other players in our forums.  Nor do we want content of that kind on users' profile pages.....

Please refrain from antagonizing other players in the forums and on your profile, as this may lead to the moderation and/or banning of your WGT account.

When will we begin to see this policy take effect in regards to users who post lists of names of quitters on their 'blog'?

Quitters lists are a blatant violation of stated policy, unless that stated policy is selectively enforced.

Any list remaining on any profile 'blog' is further proof of selective enforcement.

Remove them all or remove the policy.  Anything else is just hypocritical.

Yes, except that such a list may be mistaken for a "quitters list". Someone might, for example, want to publish a list of one's favourite playing partners in one's blog, and someone else, visiting that blog, might mistake that list for a "quitters list". I don't see how anyone, simply by looking at a random list of player names, might claim that that's a "quitters list", especially if it's not designated as such.

Snaike, you are correct.  We have not properly enforced this policy and will do so from this point on.  However, please keep in mind going forward that we are not able to police the profiles of every user on the site and will rely on email complaints from users.  Please email us at members@worldgolftour.com if you run across any blogs that contains defamatory material.

Addendum: If the blog post is deemed defamatory in any way it will be removed.  We reserve the right to use our discretion in such matters.

    Thank You
