i would have to say i like this game, but being a newbie and non-paying player i find that allot of the time the game plays very inconsistent for me...

is this something i am doing wrong?

    or

is that just the hard knocks i have to deal with for having base standard equiptment and what not?

    Hi JT,

You got it.  The stats on those starter clubs are rated with 1 of 10 precision if you count each half bubble as 1.  Precision defines generally how close to the aiming point your shot will land each time, so the lower that precision is the less close to the aiming point your shot will land on average.

    Hope that helps =)

Check on EA sports Tiger Woods PGA tour online beta version. There you can acquire skills through repeated play and post lower scores. Plus, it's free. I enjoy struggling with the default clubs on WGT. I score close to how I shoot on a real course and the distances of the clubs are close to how I really play. I'm definitely better at reading greens now than when I started. WGT is more like real golf in that you may think you are making a good swing but end up with a terrible result.
