Is anyone seeing greater frequency with distance and direction deviation since the latest scheduled downtime for maintenance? I know WGT said that there were no updates, only a couple of bugs fixes so it might just be coincidence.

Yesterday and today I have had the wildest deviations on nearly every other shot (particularly today) and many of them dinged with g10 master irons that are supposed to be the most precise.

2mph wind left to right, 2 pixels early meaning I pulled it and the shot flew 7-8 yards to the right.
160 shot with slight tailwind dinged and flies 146.
Many many drives (TM master driver) that were dinged immediately jumped off club face 10 yards in the opposite direction of wind. Particularly bothersome on tight fairways when you adjust aim for the wind only to see the wind never touch it and ball lands in the chewy stuff. And if you see any of the gremlins hiding on BPB #2 please try to hurt them for me. There are some programming devils lurking on that hole for sure.
At least 8 dinged putts today that actually went against the break shown on putting grid rather significantly. I use the Redwood and Daytona so this really shouldn't happen, especially with this frequency. I know there are putting grids that lie, but these were on putts that I know like the back of my hand.

These are just a few examples. I know that deviations are a part of the game, and I have no problem with that, but this beats all I've ever seen. I haven't submitted bug reports because I know there are some variances built in intentionally but they seem to be showing up with greater frequency than ever before.

Really got under my skin today since I finally had a decent day without meter freezes and spikes. Reminds me of the real course when I finally get the driver and irons working, only to see my usually very reliable putter take a 4 hour nap. :-D

Your thoughts? Anyone else seeing similar yesterday and today?

Well Jake, I hope you are correct. I have been using the G10 driver but picked up the R9 just for kicks on sunday and it seems like a very sloppy driver yesterday and today. But where I am hurting the most is with putting. I can't seem to make anything...I just thought it was me but I pray it's the game..I'm playing like a dog...LOL

I don't know if this will help, but every few days I clear my cache. It is quite possible that some files get corrupted an affect ones game. That should never happen, but, I do clear my cache every few days or so. When any time the site goes down, I clear my cache. Just my thoughts, but it does seem to help.

Yes. Shots are coming up 15-25 yards shorter than usual under similar conditions. Drives seem O.K. but iron shots are short. This is today only. Yesterday seemed fine.

I am noticing more deviations in general last 3 days and have a suspicion they "cranked up Vemmie the Beast" a notch and wish they would bury that POS for good.

Whether VEM is involved or whether its just the beast really just amounts to the same thing anyway, random sillyness. And before someone comes along saying how much they love the random part of the game and how much they think its needed, horse sh*t. A little bit sure depending on club precision and to simulate wind gusts maybe BUT we are not talking about a little bit here.

Its VERY annoying and very obvious to those that play frequently.

My only other theory is after any game tweaks, maintenance, etc much like getting new clubs maybe the game needs a day or two to "settle" back down. Not sure how much this theory holds water but it seems like with new clubs it takes several rounds for them to act properly and more consistently so maybe its similiar to what happens after updates to the system.

Interesting, I've also notice some unusual deviations, mostly on approaches and putts. Drives into the wind seem to behave normally, but approaches with tailwind have come up radically short.

Also, missed 2 putts inside 10 feet that appeared to be straight but then went right or left with the supposedly precise TM Rosa putter. Thought I was just having a horrific putting day (which I'm not ruling out).

This craziness continues. Set up still g10 master irons and GI SD balls. Playing STA Ready Go just had a 31 headwind on #5, hitting from the 30 40 rough 4 feet uphill. 90 to hole and I hit 115 full BS expecting perhaps to be a little short. Dinged shot ball flies 109 and rolls to 112. Nuclear I must say. All this after a huge meter spike to put me in the rough to begin with. -3 thru 4 then round shot with a bogey on par 5. Yes there were some choice words flying.

#6 30 headwind center fairway 123 to hole. Ding full 130 with no spin and ball goes 98. Have had some more deviations today but this is over the top. Now I get scolded for playing at work because of my uncontrollable reflex to swear loudly. :-D

Now I can't even hit another shot because I'm cross-eyed from shaking my head back and forth. Truth be told, I was cross-eyed to begin with but now it's really bad.

Please please please figure out what the heck is going on WGT. Is this part of the master plan or are these indeed bugs? Will resume regimen of submitting bug reports and all suspected wild ones but it will be hard to play rounds in any sort of timely fashion I'm seeing soooooooooooooooooo (oops the "o" got stuck) many.
