    All the time i see people using abbreviations when they chat. I do it a lot too.For those of you that don't know, here are some of them:

    GL-good luck

    NS-nice shot

    GS-great shot

    VNS-very nice shot

    TY-thank you

    GG-good game

     

     

    If I forgot some please reply.

    HF - Have Fun

    N1 - Nice One

    NP - Nice Putt/Par

    NC - Nice Chip

    NB - Nice Bird

    I thought FO meant something else.

     

    WTF means "wow, that's fantastic", I use that one a lot, and my partner in alt often praises me thus after my shots.

    I hit a decent short pitch once, and a chap said NC

    I wasn't sure whether to say thks or "in fact it was a pitch, but thank you"

    I opted just for thks.

    Its a minefield out there.
