    Well done, WGT!

I scored a -1 35 my first time through.  1 Bogey, 2 Birdies.  No problems noted.  One NOTE:  I am set up on the WHITE tees.  Not a complaint.

    Loved it!

Blizzard in Pennsylvania today so I shall PRACTICE the new game!

    Regards,  AtlantaCoaster

EDIT - JUST AS I COMPLETED THIS ORIGINAL POST - A "GAME INVITE" COMES IN.  Who the he** is inviting me to a game at 5:30 AM EAstern Time?  (I was up EARLY.  Lo and behold - I had the privilege of sharing one of my first St. Andrews games with none other than Mr WGT himself.  Enjoyed the game and BEST OF LUCK WITH A SUCCESSFUL ROLLOUT OF THE OLD COURSE!  AtlantaCoaster (-2) 34 / MrWGT +1 37  (The poor thing has been up ALL NIGHT bringing all of us the new course - so I forgive.  :-)

Hit 33 on my first go. Going great guns on my second attempt at 5 under after 8 before hitting my 9th tee shot left and into the 'fescue'. I have no idea what that is, but it's not a good place to be (70-80%!). Although I got out fine and saved par for a 31. Seems a pretty easy nine holes, dare I say, but I'm sure I'll discover the hazards soon enough.

Just finished my first round.  -1.  Included 3 birdies and a dbl bogey!  Landed in a fairway bunker on the par 5, took three shots to get out!  My goodness those wall are high.

Excellent little course, have played links golf and this feels and looks just like it should.  The fairways are fast and wide, the green bumpy and quick, excellently done and worth the wait!  Thanks WGT!

Second round -7!  Thats more like it, included an eagle on the par 5.  So thats a dbl bogey and an eagle on that hole.  Hmmm, fun.

-7 under though on only my second round!  And thats in a strong wind, think this is looking like the easiest of the three courses!

When you say strong wind, was it on the pactice section with the 30mph+ blowing?

Thank you WGT team. Great work. Looking forward to the back nine.

No problem at all during this first round. Fairly easy to drive, more difficult to putt on laaarge greens.

    ** Loved:

Choose camera angle in "Zoom" view with SkyCaddie yardage. Now we can better plan our shots.

    ** Hated:

Aren't we loosing precision every now and then? With time, we all get better at centering our shots, but *I think* you are playing with our nerves and add more and more "imperfection" for our shots. I know, I know: It's almost like real golf, when you love the sound, the feeling, the ball flight to see the ball landing in the bunker/water/weeds/adjacent fairway (tick all that apply!) This is not particular to this new St Andrew, it is just a general observation over time. So please. We've got the message. Please stop decreasing our precision more than it is. (And no, I won't buy more precise clubs.)

This is a very pleasant game to play every now and then. Thank you.

"Professional grade" statistics. You have better data about our game than ShotLink. You only feed us basic data. I'd love to get better and more stats about my game: Precision of approach from 35, 50, 70, 90, 100, 150, 200 yards away, putt lengths, from fairway or rough, etc.

Also, you not only have "golfing" data but WGT data as well: How far left/right of the middle trigger do we shot with what "speed" or percentage of the green bar?

That would be interested and amuse some of us. In release 1.50 may be!? Some of us are looking forward to it.

    Keep entertaining us.
