Don't know why this post caught my attention, but it made me wonder.....have I ever seen a post about when deviations help the player? There have been plenty of times when I have mis-clicked badly and the ball still ends up a yard or two from the hole or when I don't ding the putt and it still drops. Take the good with the bad.

Of course we don't.   There have been countless times where after I click for accuracy (and miss badly), I yell out some expletive,  hang my head in shame, and look up to see the ball inches from the hole.
