I really like the WGT GI-SD balls but I don't don't use them that much because of low durabilty and only 1 dot of feel. WGT should consider introducing a new version of this ball: the "WGT GI-SD+". If WGT were to add 1 more dot of feel for a total of 2 dots and a 1/2 dot more durability for a total of 1 1/2 dots I think that they would have a ball that is fairly competitive with the Srixon (lvl 11) ball at 180C-200C.  A ball of this type could have a price range somewhere between 145C-160C depending on color selection. WGT balls have taken a back seat to to the brand name balls and I think it's time they put something on the market to at least be somewhere in the ballpark with their competitors.

All that plus another dot of distance.  Although I think I've heard that the 1/2 dot more of durability is deceptive.  Now you just need to make Legend.

The ball you're describing is a Srixon. WGT balls are supposed to be in the back seat... Nike, Srixon and Callaway are advertising their real stuff. That's why they're better, and always will be.

The ball I described is not a Srixon (lvl 11). The difference is as follows:

1.) 2.5 dots of spin (Srixon) vs. 2 dots of spin in the WGT GI-SD

2.) 2.5 dots of durability (Srixon) vs. the 1.5 dots I suggested for the WGT GI-SD

Therefore is is not the same ball. I never stated that WGT should be the front runner with new products but they should at least be in the same ballpark as their competitors. Nike, Callaway, and Srixon may be advertising their real products here and their real products may be better but that's not what we're buying on this site.

If it were the same ball it would have the same attributes and it doesn't. SO, close but no cigar.

Who are you calling a show off? The name of this forum is "Product Suggestions" and I stated what I felt is a valid product improvement. Apparently, these people can't tell the difference between what I suggested and what exists. Maybe reading glasses might help.

I think he was just poking fun at my knowledge of balls.  I've got the balls licked!
