This guy died in 1925....he didn't map the greens on wgt. Was talking about the dot mapping on wgt Merion, not in real life.

Why are we discussing wind, this is July and the excessive wind we have experienced during the winter should now be a thing of the past.  We have winds of 30+ mph which we all know we would not play real golf in so why do we play it here.

It is time that the programmers realised that we play the game because it used to be nearly realistic to playing the real thing.  Unfortunately over the last 3-6 months it seems that the programmers have got lazy and just put a course out with excessive wind so they do not need to do much work from the last months courses.

Perhaps the programmers could look at a real golf course and make the game more realistic once again.  No wind in the summer but perhaps fast greens with pins tucked away in difficult places.

Used to play the game everyday, actually had over 400+ days in a row, but am now only playing it every 3rd day or so because it has become a little boring and repetitive.

Come on guys give us something new to focus on and less wind because we are now in the summer.

The Only good thing about all this wind is that I refuse to play courses which have heavy wind as a matter of principle in the summer months and am saving money on not having to buy balls which am able to use on other games .

This game is really getting beyond a joke.  Just played St Andrews which has a moderate wind and the first hole is 20-22 mph, then played Congressional which has a heavy wind and is running at 12-14 mph.  Obviously the developers cannot tell the difference between moderate and heavy.  We have gone through the summer with most courses at heavy winds, even in Scotland where I come from we do not get heavy winds all summer.

Am playing this game less and less which is a pity as really loved it
