Solve Distance Club Gap

  Seeking input regarding 3W. I now have a distance gab between a Titleist TS2 driver (269) and Ping i500 3i (210). Still have the starter 3W and Hybrid. The only 3W that caught my eye were the (buy now) Calloway Epic Flash (L58) or wait for the Ping G410 (L68). My thought leans toward high trajectory and an eye on meter speed.

  IMO, you don't need a 3W until you get to the longer tees. Or a HB. I went with 4 wedges all the way to Legend simply because that fairway wood was useless. 

  If you're in trouble off the tee, get back into play and save par. Heroic shot attempts just get you in trouble. In the meantime, your coverage from that 210 yd 3i all the way down to a 64W would be solid.

  The key is the distance off your tees and it will always put you in middle to low iron range. The 3w and HB just take up space, you hardly use them.  :-)
