Well this game Has now reached a new low !!!!!!!!!!

I am constantly matched up with legend players and masters players with sub 67 scores . After four months of many losses because the match ups are not fair I have run out of coins and the game is forcing me to purchase more coins to be able to play . I am not sure if I want to spend money on a game that does not promote fair play

I have gone from 50,000 coins to almost zero in four months. Complete BS

i am  sorry if I am letting my team  down but this is very frustrating and WGT does not give a damn

also earning credits to buy better equipment is a complete joke . Getting credits is next to impossible

wake up WGT . I can not promote a game that is not fair to play and does not treat it players fairly . This is simply a money grab for you plain and simple 🤔

Not sure what to tell you.  I've got the opposite problem, over 100 million and can't do anything with them.  Maybe WGT will allow us to gift them?  I'd give you a few million just to keep you around, it's a fun game.

You can play this game without using any coins what so ever. WGT have many courses you can play 9 or 18 holes on, and hopefully your country club has a few tournaments you can enter. Also, you can play h2h with many others free of charge and with out any coins.

The only time I ever use any coins is when my club is in a turf war. Other than that, I play in many tournaments and h2h matches every night with no coins at all.

I can understand your frustration, but I have to be honest... this sounds like poor coin management.

Variance, swings, losses, in coin rooms with only 1 or 3 holes is greater than what one would normally observe over 9 or 18 holes.

Players who want to avoid going broke, should never enter or play in a coin room where they don't have at least 25 -30X the entry fee.  If you drop below a 20X entry fee then you should drop down to a lower stakes room where it doesn't impact your bankroll as much.

Problem is... coin rooms are like poker tables... people go on TILT and try to win them back faster and in turn "forcing" the issue.  You get quick, you tap early, you make mistakes because you are desperate to win...

Some people like the rush or the importance of matches like that, but it is not always wise bankroll management.

And yes, it is a pain in the butt to try and grind your bankroll back up after going broke.. so the smart thing is to not put yourself in that position.

If you go broke using good bankroll management, then you really need to look closely at the weaknesses in your game because that is a whole different issue.

Unfortunately, you make those choices, not WGT.  I sympathize with your frustrations, but sounds like you tried to venture into higher stakes coin rooms without a healthy bankroll and where you were not prepared for the tougher competition.

Just going to add one thing to what El3n1 said ....

Never, ever ... EVER go into the Monaco “All In” room ...
It’s just playing with fire 🔥 and you will only get burned! 🚒

    some perspective.

50k is really a tiny amount of coin. i remember when i first started that within a few weeks i was renting the blue rental clubs and i'm fairly certain those were 50k a week rental.

I used those up into the 50s when i got my first driver and irons.

so if you're losing coin it's probably a skill issue and should think about practicing certain shots more and learning the game better.

also in general the coin rooms distill out the level of player that you are.

A good player isn't going to play in low coin rooms it's just not worth it. so if meeting someone regardless of tier or average (manipulated) and they are in in a low level coin room odds are they aren't that great.

The exception is during showdowns. I'd avoid the 3 hole rooms if your skill level is average to poor during the week of showdowns.  all kinds of skills are in the 3 hole rooms then.

    El3n1

thanks for your input , I understand bankroll management and do not try to play over my head . WGT seams to constantly match me up with way better players who have sub 67 rounds making it very difficult to win a game when my average is 72. WGT just changed my ranking to master level

I do not play above casa Blanca which is 10,000 to enter . I had 500,000 coin s at the time .

To move up to diamond level 1 I needed to play 10,000 matches to move up but would stop if I lost 3 games in a row .

I still think WGT could do better with match ups. Also getting credits also has a lot to be desired

if I play in Chelsea players there are complaining that I should be playing a higher division because they are pros or amateurs

Here is something I noticed... it is not scientific but an observation.  Remember coin games are random match ups based on who enters the room to a certain extent.  It is not that WGT is trying to give you tougher match ups.

As noted, playing the 10k room during a Showdown event, will also significantly enhance the chance of being matched up against higher tier and better players... because WGT puts the Veteran group into that coin room so you will see high level coin game specialist playing 10k coin games because they are forced to by the structure of the event.

When I was starting out, I seemed to notice certain time frames during the day seemed to give tougher match ups than others.  If I got on to play coin games during mid day for some reason, I may encounter more coin room specialist for my time zone but if I got on late at night, I seemed to get a slightly different group of people and those match ups tended to be easier for me.

If people are creatures of habit and you are regularly playing WGT at the same time, maybe you are playing during peak playing sessions of some highly active mobile TW clubs and that results in tougher match ups in general.

It was just an observation, but something you may consider trying.

I noticed that when I checked out your profile and my guess is... you were promoted based on your coin room activity / success but also the level progression you have made.  There appear to be some new promotion criteria that WGT is using to promote coin room players especially those who don't play ranked rounds because there were some players getting beyond L100 without being promoted getting high end gear and playing off the forward tee boxes.

I don't know how it all works, but they did put something in place based on observation of a number of people.

Do what is best for you and your coin bankroll!  -- if it comes to it, turn off chat to play in the room you are comfortable in.

Be pleasant, and ask for tips from the better players, especially on things you may struggle with... you might be surprised and they may even forfeit the match to help you out... or just happen to miss hit an approach.  Who knows with these crazy meters sometimes.
