andyson:Yes there are a few quirks, holes that play shorter than listed, and lies that lie. But in general, its fine.
This is true enough - and the jury in my mind is still out on whether Oilyrag (abetted by WGT labelling) is simply confusing hole and challenge numbers - I'm going to check through what he says.
BUT, as in other thread, and on a separate but related issue:
from Zag e.g., why can't WGT fix what appear (to this layman) to be simple lie labelling errors. Is this really so hard?
Why should I have to remember, write a note, whatever, that the laws of physics are suspended on such and such a CttH challenge? And isn't it in WGT's interest not to confuse newbies like this. And isn't the contest (ultimately b/w programmer and player) weighted enough in favour of the programmer w/o these suspensions?
Would be glad of yr views on this Andyson. (I suppose, in short, "Is it so hard...?")
