Not sure if this has been asked because I haven’t found it in a search.

On mobile, is there a way to hide the mini-map when aiming for a putt. Tons of times my aiming point ends up behind the mini-map and I can’t aim properly.

Edit: sometimes the aiming point end up behind the “green view” or “putt preview” options too.

It would be nice if all of these were either free to move around or placed somewhere off the green/putting surface.

    Thanks

    Did you try reverse view?

The link attached is from reverse view. It’s the only way I putt..

I don't know if there is a way to hide the minimap, but there should be one for all platforms.

I don’t think the mini map has ever got in the way of one of my putts , but then my putting is pretty erratic and I may just not have noticed !

Here is a better example. This could be a winning putt, but I doubt it. More like a lip out since it can't be aimed properly.

Actually, more often than not with that particular putt, a player will miss slightly only to have to ball roll completely off the front of the green. That particular hole is one of the toughest in all of WGT. You are better off laying up on your approach shot, hoping for a pitch/chip in... if not safely saving par.

    LMAO

Yes Don. Can't slip anything past you.

I jumped on the "Hard" practice putting green to take a quick screenshot as an example of what I'm coming across putting from reverse view.

Imagine a different green, but with the same issue.

Some greens have larger mini-maps than others, and for those who prefer to putt from reverse view, it's an issue.

It would be nice if the mini-maps were either off the putting surface or free floating where they can be moved.

The code should already be available for this since the Shot Data window is free floating.

And for the record, yes I do agree with this discussion. The mini-map is not needed once you have reached the green.

Kind of funny actually though... when PCEA was first released, there were a lot of players, including myself, that stated that the mini-map was TOO SMALL. WGT addressed the issue by increasing the size, and now there are players complaining that it is TOO BIG.

Damned if they do. Damned if they don't. LOL
