  If I make a full 18 CC tournament and set prize payout 3 for player's for 100 credits,

  how are the credits awarded if only one or two play?

  They get the full prize in the ratio of their original %%.

  An example: Imagine prize distribution were 50% / 30% / 20%. Then, two would get the whole amount in a ratio of 5 / 3.

  Only if there's no winner at all, WGT will take the full pot.  This has happened in a multi-round tournament.
