  I've just advanced to Legend status and i'm very disappointed to see that apart from 4 golf balls there is no other equipment for 'Legend' only. Why is this? hardly seems worthwhile to get to this status with no 'special' equipment available to purchase. The balls are rubbish compared to what I use already.

  To me, tiered equipment is a remnant of WGT's start-up time, when there were no levels (?) and all equipment was accessible by tier. AFAIR, they changed it in October 2010 - there should be hints in the News archive.

  FWIW, most of the tiered equipment, especially the "Legend" balls, cannot be gifted even if the receiver has the appropriate tier.

  It does take a long time to level up now. When I first started playing there seemed to be more clubs from drivers to putters aimed at the higher level player (90+) than there are now?

  The Legend ball they have are a good ball for the credits, I’ve used them from time to time, got a few sleeves in my bag, the only downside is the .2 durability.
