I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of you for contributing to the forums and playing the beta.  The level of constructive discussions has really improved.  We read these forums everyday and have very much enjoyed reading your comments this week.  We do our best to incorporate your thoughts into the product. I hope you feel as proud as we do, for the progress that has been made. Keep up the helpful posts!

    Thank you Players

Is there anything in specific that you'd like us to constructively discuss?  =D

And if I may add, despite that other game out there, this one is where it's at, so keep up the good work.  We know you'll fix that swing meter eventually.  I blame Adobe. :)

We all thank you for your.... thanks I'm sure, but could we see more transparency? I mean, we hardly ever know what's going on with the game, seems there are no firm answers for anything. I mean, with the upcoming TWO having devs that the players can talk to, it would probably be a good idea to communitcate with us more often.

We just need continued input on what you would improve.  We understand the need for more courses and a swing meter that is less dependent on your local machine settings.  These two main issues are slowly being addressed. This being said, mentioning new features no one has talked about, or addressing issues that would make the game more fun or easier to play with your friends are all things we want to work on. What would you like to see that would encourage you to invite your real life friends to do with you on WGT?

As for transparency, we read and answer just about every thread on this board, either with a post or private email.  Other than discussing the upcoming features which you are see here :http://wgt.com/forums/t/5038.aspx

What else are you referring to, when you say "transparency".

Thanks WGT ADMS. I now know, with out a doubt, that our voices are being heard and taken seriously. As for myself, that is all I can ask from anyone. I'll habe to think about "what would make the WGT better" because I pretty much like everything about the game so far.But I'll get back to you on that one.A practice area is all I can think of to enhance the game on my end.I suppose ya'll already know that the forums need moderating so I won't mention that.Even if it is only on the weekends.I really have no complaints. But I do have just this one question...

Have ya'll changed the prices in the pro shop???

I ask this because I just bought a 64 degree wedge and instead of $2 it was $3...

    Just asking,

    Larry

We are in the process of taking all the player's suggests to design a practice area, so please pour out the ideas. We are also working on a moderation solution. The issue tends to be that no players in the community want to moderate, because it makes them not eligible to win prizes on this site. As for the prices in the proshop I do not think the price of the wedge has changed, but I will look and confirm it.

    Suggestions for practise areas..

    I have a few suggestions:

#1 Practice green: This should be a fairly large green   say for 9 pin positions..player should have choice of pin..and where to place the ball.

#2 Practice area should be large enough for all kinds of basic roughs, fairways and bunkers to drop the ball in.

#3 a driving range with lots of target areas.

#4 Failing all this,  just the option to drop the ball any where on the hole in practice..no 10 shot limit.

Other things..the fringe on greens should not act like velcro..it should have less friction than the fairways, yet more friction than the green.

Flag in and out  should be a button on the side somewhere.

Multi play  for CTTH compititions would be very fun.

The ability to hit fades and curves should be added to the spin ball..the late or early ping on the meter would adversaly effect the quality of the shot...if your trying to hit a draw and your late..it pushes the shot to the right and gradually reduces the draw to a straight push depending on how far you miss the ping.

Lies in the course of play should cause high hits.. for uphill lies...low hits for downhill lies and the corresponding effects for side hill as well. I.E. ball below feet would fly  to the right...etc.

These things should be implemented in such a way as not to slow down set up time too much..
