    a lung disease contracted from inhaling fine silica particles.

    yes however there is much debate over whether:  "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosisis" is a proper word or simply a medical term..

    See the word "volcano" in that string of letters?  That tells me the whole conglomeration is a proper word that can be used to describe athlete's foot or heart burn or what a log is about to do when thrown into a fireplace.

    yes,  it can also be used to describe the geotectonicmagneticintercontinentalplatemovement of magma under immense pressure which could be construed as "antidisesblishmentaranistic" given the right conditions.
