No matter what 8 players it would have been someone would have complain and said that's not the best 8 players... There for an event like this needs a qualifiy tournament or several ones then every player have earn there spot... Hopefully that happens in the future:)... Good luck to all 8 players... Been watching a bit looks like a great event... You do wish wgt had gave the commentaries a wee bit more Info on the game tho... Feels like they lacking a lot of knowledge... Still doing a great job tho.

I don't believe players were hand picked.  Invites went out, and those who responded quickly got to play.

Nice quarter matches. GL to all in the semis.

For those of us who missed it today.... what was the course - was it 9 or 18 holes - and what were the actual scores?

Might catch some of it tomorrow (24th).

Three courses were St Andrews, Chambers Bay & Wolf Creek (Chambers Bay was a last min replacement for Pinehurst before tournie started)

Veto In operation so highest seed vetoes one course, lower seed vetoes another & then they play on remaining course.

Matches today were only played on Wolf Creek 7 Chambers Bay as St Andrews was vetoed every time

thanks for updates and info.... missed the live showing... as a storm with tornado like winds went through knocked out power and just now trying to get caught up.  hope things stabilize and can catch the finals.

    best of luck to all...
