Although I’m not proud of my history of bouncing from one club to the next, I did find a few things in my journey that seem to be common to clubs which are “going and growing”. For what it may be worth, here is my prioritized list:

    1.       Friendliness/mutual respect.

    a.       I believe most of us prefer to play among our own club membership because it is less likely that we will run across someone who sucks the fun out of the game.

    2.       An “all in” owner.

    a.       An owner who is available to all.

    b.       An owner who strives to maintain a healthy club atmosphere.

    c.       An owner who is active.

    d.       An owner who is knowledgeable and experienced.

    e.       An owner/Director who recognizes the achievements of members.

    3.       An interactive club membership.

    a.       A sizable portion of the membership who get together often for multi-player games; fun and competitions.

    b.       Audio communication options such as Skype, Discord or Team Speak.

    c.       People who know each other by their real names.

    d.       All tiers being comfortable playing with one another.

    4.       A comprehensive slate of club tournaments.

    a.       A good selection of single player tournaments for all tiers.

    b.       Various multi-player games especially bracket tournaments for all tiers.

PS      I’m no longer searching for the perfect club because their ain’t none, especially when I join…lol

Thanks for the comprehensive if subjective list!

I see #1, #2c and #3 as the key elements.

As a CC owner, I don't blame you for hopping, as there is virtually no chance to look into a CC from outside. Only as a Recruit can a player learn about the details and decide if it fits to him. Plus, there's no cost involved for anyone, and the effort of the owner/directors should be small. Courtesy pays here, too!

I will probably be shouted at

    but

And i do not mean to be prejudice

    but

in my experience on here ladies only seem to be part timers on here.

Obviously there are a few exceptions

    but

is this because they do not have the time to play every day.

    washing , ironing , changing nappies , cooking .

    it all takes time .

    Ladies golf course conditions:

    1. Have done the dishes
    2. Have you done the washing?
    3. Have you cooked your husband's tea?

If you have done these simple tasks, you may proceed.

    Nancy1959.

Wow. Doesn't get any better than that. Not only is she in a class of her on, she is the only member in the club of her on.  She does not need anybody else.  haha

The word ‘sexism’ wasn’t invented until 1965.

The word fatphobic was invented 2 minutes ago.

Exactly how do you leave a club? What function do I have to perform to do so? I cannot find the place where i can do so.

Find the "quit" button on the CC's home page.

    Press.
