HI, I m new at the game, and I am surprised that Erin Hills is under the "easy" category. Really? A couple of par 4 over 440 ysds, plus 3 par 5 over 560 yds, plus brush...I hardly find it easy. On the contrary, St. Andrews, with those never ending running fairways (my humbre drive hits 290 yds...hahaha), seems to me a very easy course.

Course difficulty varies a lot with the tees used, and the "difficulty" given in the description is of no relevance to anything, AFAIK.

Its easy because of the set up you`re playing under . Its based on the tees green speed and winds . Now once you reach the tips its another story . It will change as you tier up and move back on the tees . The game will continue to change and play harder . Dont let St. Andrews fool you it has a bite . When you wind up in the rough or one of those bunkers easy will be the last thing on your mind . Play well and have fun .

Holes 3,4,5,8,10,17,18 are really difficult with the starter iron set. 8,10 and 17 with are barely reachable in 2, being all Par 4. It is annoying.

That is the way it is with starter equipment.

BTW - why do you have a driver, 2 fairway 3-woods, a hybrid 3-wood and only one wedge equipped????

Get rid of one of those 3-woods and get your wedge back!!!

Erin Hills is a long course. With starter clubs and balls it is going to be a trek.

The starter set does come with 2 wedges.

As noted there are two wedges - a 56 and 60.  They call them SW and LW.  Check your equipment and equip the one you are missing.
