  jacktrade51 (Group 3, 421) lost to jw196128 2 DN.

  It was a great match.  Nothing like being -9 through 12 holes and even.  Then I botched a 5 ft putt on 13, he has an HIO on the short par 3.  So I eagle #17, and he covers it.   Well played.

  If you are going to have fun losing, this was it.

  LATER EDIT: I forgot to mention after he sank his ace, I put my tee shot 2 feet from hole, LOL.  2 feet too far.  But he didn't win game on that.  Jon won on being a great putter.

  (97) jw196128 beat (421) jacktrade51.  2up.

  Tom was a strong opponent and excellent company. On the front 9 Tom’s approach play was excellent. On many occasion I was conceding putts he was that close. Fortune swung in my favour on the back 9, particularly with the hole in one on the short Par 3.

  Group 2, Round 1, Tie #2: Aphrodite vs Las Vegas Knights

  Player #78 TheAceFactor (Aphrodite) vs Player #475 Cajunrebel (LVK).

  I'm not sure what the final score was but our man Cajunrebel was 5 Down at the turn and never got back into it.

  Was all square through 9.  Tom hit it to THREE feet for eagle on #5 to go one up.  That eagle def woke me up.  Hit it to 5 feet on #10 for bird to take the lead and then pulled away with birds the rest of the way.  Tom was spot on with his speed but just a bit off on the line on four or five putts for bird or this match could have gone the other way.  Good match and best of luck the rest of the way, Tom!
