will arrange with jason over the weekend a time/date to have the draw and maybe use discord to talk him through.

the brookline gc will bve taking part this year,

will post some information out later about draw DATE/TIME and process,

we need all squads in by FRIDAY 15TH FEB at the latest,

clubs with more than 1 team i need captains as well,

looking to start FRIDAY 1ST MARCH.

Personally I think the decision to go 8 groups of 4, is a clincher. Only 6 weeks to advance to KO either it be the Cup or Plate will create way more interest.

The world cup of golf 2019

Hello all

We are just over 1 month away from the start of this year’s World Cup,

I would like to thank all clubs/teams and for some have entered more than 1 team this year, it shows how popular It has become amongst the community.

This year we have 32 teams battling it out in the Cup and the Plate.

There are 8 groups of 4 teams playing each other once on three formats,

The top 2 from each group go through to the Cup and the other 2 go through to the Plate,

Here is last year’s Cup/Plate.

my mate johnny will again be the engraver of the trophies,

This year’s draw will take place on Jason’s /young46 twitch channel

Saturday 16^th February 7pm uk time.

As there are 8 groups we have decided to seed the top 8 teams from last year into separate groups,

Here is a link to the last 8 from last year,

Kona will be replaced by Paragon because basically same club just name change,

The top 8 teams from last year will be drawn first,

Any clubs with more than 1 team will be drawn next into groups and kept apart for the group stages,

All other teams will be drawn into any groups.

I will need your first 8 player’s captains in the two weeks up to the start of the comp

Friday 1^st March start date,

All links to the tables/matches and pairings will be on page 1 of the forum,

Courses and formats will be posted after the draw takes place with plenty of time to sort your players out.

Any questions please pm me or post on this forum, me,nico or dotty are always around to help out and answer,

I want all captains and players to be aware of what’s expected of them and happy to take part.

i will be opening a nearest the pin thread and a live streaming one for the ones who like to show i do yeah right lol,

any sponsors would be welcome please post on there.
