Chambers Bay, here in the state of Washington, USA, plays to almost 8000 yards and is the site of the 2015 U.S. Open.

In Virginia, two over par for me the one time I played it. What is nice is there is a "Warmup hole" before the first tee.

Yep, before I kick the bucket, I'll have to plan a trip to Perth from Melbourne and play this course on the way...lol

Yeah my uncle played it recently. Took them a week to play the 18 holes LOL. Wish i could play it but can't lift my arms above shoulder level anymore. Snapped the tendons in both shoulders :(

That's stupid. It's not a long course, the holes are just spread really far apart.

Length should include only the distance from tee to hole, not hole to tee.

I can see what you say , but one I would love to have a road trip on...lol. Just to say I've done it.
