    USGA ARTICLE

So, do qualifiers win 2,000 credits AND a 1 year USGA membership?

WGT's C&Cs for the Qualifier and for the Championship (which may be identical) do not mention any USGA membership. In QUALIFIER PRIZES, 156x 2,000 cr are included. That means, like in the years before, that a number of players (14) on the cut line of 55 will be left out.

Good luck to all who are qualified!

We used to in the past Jay. It included a US Open hat and bag tag. I've still got 1 from Merion which was the last year they did it. It got replaced by the 2000cr but it would be nice if we got both.

Every qualifier gets 2000cr. The 1st 156 get it automatically and the rest will be done manually by Wgt.

I am lost here...can anyone help please?  I qualified with a 55 back on May 10th. I am not showing anything allowing me to play the Championship round.  When I last checked I was number 61 I believe.  I see someone said that 14 people who shot the same score wouldn't get to play...i find that hard to believe.  Anyone know why I am not seeing the championship round tee off?  First time qualifying so not sure.  Thanks!

    Nope!

I said that 14 are shut out from the payout, and was corrected that this would be "manually".

Never mentioned the ability to advance to the next round, and would take it as granted.

I thought that the qualifying was top 156 and ties, which would mean that anyone who shot the number would have qualified for the event, I believe that there were 170 total.  In past years there have been reasons that people could not advance or receive payouts, not sure if this is the case this year.   We have also received a variety of things over the years besides just credits.   Generally a one year USGA membership and I recall once a British Open hat from the championship and I also think maybe a US Open hat, I think those were so difficult to distribute that they were discontinued.

It also is strange that on the leaderboard you can only see the scores of 135 players, I have no idea what is up with that.

Only players who complete the first round are shown on the leaderboard. If you withdraw or don't play your round your name will not be listed.
