Which is your favorite Titleist ball?

  Thanks much for your replies. I'll probably try a sleeve of the L40 then maybe a L57 just for s&g, but sounds like the L40 might just be the ticket.

  My favorite Titleist ball here is the Pro V1x Super Vapor at level 73, because just by knowing it's there, not buying it makes me 10 dollars richer, with 50 cents left over to buy 5 packs of the B-ES balls, or half a cigarette in New York City.

  I use to play with the L90 Nike black. Since they were removed I tried a few different balls and found the L70 Titleist reacted the closest to the black Nike's

  Yeah, I was looking at that too, with 4.2 spin. 975 credits

  Or for that matter, Level 1. Just noting that the Level 73 ball isn't 10 dollars with 50 cents left over. That's all. :-)

  My Titleist experiment has ended.  Went through a sleeve of L57 and didn't notice much difference compared to the TM L81.

  Haven't been playing all that much anyway, so it's a waste for me to spend the extra credits on a ball that isn't that different from the 550 credit balls I'm using.

  I've come to the same conclusion and have decided to stick with the TM Level 81 ball.
  
  A few days ago, I had a couple of bad rounds with it and was thinking of switching. Then over the last couple of days I had some decent (not spectacular) rounds and thought, OK, maybe I'll stick with it.
  
  Tonight, I shot a 27 from the tips on the back 9 of Chambers Bay with a hole in one on 15. I'm thinking the bad rounds I had the other day had nothing to do with the ball. :-) 
  
  TM Level 81 is good enough for me as well. No need to spend more credits on "better" balls.
