  I always thought that referred to the police. NYPD Blue was a cutting edge TV series in its day.

  Did I not mention you can't Google it ?

  I even go back as far as Hill St Blues :(

  Loved the opening tune...+ meant I was up later as a kid than I should've been 

  12  yrs at the time..on @ 10pm in England.

  I kept v quiet in case b.itch features ( I mean my Mum )..sent me to bed !!

  Tom Selleck made himself into a franchise in Blue Bloods. Lot of strong messages coming out of that show, many of which are currently getting ignored by today's populace.  :-(

  And I, too, thought like Yiannis on the Google thing. Heh, turns out I was right if you go by the most popular answer after Googling it. Alas, knowing your penchant for oddities I suspect that's not what you were after.  ;-)

  What makes it so interesting....

  Always liked TS as an actor..we can forgive Magnum PI..but it was cool back when.....

  Jessie Stone tv series I found unmissable..

  Don't like the 'family' meal thing ending in BB ..no ffookkiinn cross generational get together ends in nods / smiles and general accord....

  ( remember last Xmas when the in-laws rocked up ? )  ;)))
