I know not that different is different
For different is normal to me,
And that is the difference.
I see life happen every day
And wonder why they are not the same as me.
Why?
Shouldn't they stand tall every day
And walk with a regal air?
Why don't they take that air
And spread it all around them?
Why do they yell over the silliest things?
Why don't they do as they're told?
Why do shake their fists and bang their tables?
Why don't they understand what it means to have character?
Aren't they the same as me?
Don't I strut with a regal air
And take that air and shoot it every which way?
Aren't I the model of character?
Aren't I the normal one in an different world?
I know not that different is different,
For different is normal to me ...
See the difference?
