Firstly why I am asking this question?

A short game background and to be clear this is not a complaint as I do enjoy this game more days than not.

I mainly play cheap RG's ( not many to choose from these days )  which I enjoy because the stakes are low but there is a small incentive to keep me interested. Sadly as much as I enjoy the fun to be had in Alt shot games, usually there are freezes and drop outs etc etc ( mainly from other players or partners )  and a game can get frustrating and very long which takes the fun out of it for me personally. So, as I am not a fan of unlimited games there are only a few tournaments that are left for me to play on a daily basis.

I have searched the net for similar games but as yet ( maybe I'm looking in the wrong place ) I've had no luck and without going into detail I do need some distraction from my daily routine that gives me a break from "The Real World ".

So if any of you folks have suggestions on games of virtual skill that are suitable for a Desktop Computer I will definitely look into them and see if they may help me enjoy some free time at my desk. I have no preferences as to the type of game and as long as it's not too costly I have no problem paying fees etc to join.

Thanks in advance for any help offered, regards from Alan

Just google " Free Online Games" and many will pop up . There are many games out there from sniper games to billiards , casino style games whatever you want . So all you have to do is search and you will find tons of online games to play . Try Tactical Assassin its a fun shooter game and also try Axifer Billiards also a fun game . Addictive Games is a site that has some of everything and there`s also online chess if you like to play chess . Hope this helps

Too bad you missed the best internet golf game before EA shut it down. It made wgt look like the Flintstones when it was the Jetsons.  Now with wgt we are back to the stone age.

Pffft. Cartoon golf at best. Links is 100 times better and still around. The problem is, neither one is browser golf so that kinda defeats the purpose. There's nothing out there like this.

To the previous 2 posters above. Oh well, "thems the breaks" I guess.

I have an indoor golf game close to home  but my body can't handle the club rotation any more so club head speed sucks :-0) and that is out as well.

Sadly if I had ( again this is just personal ) more cheap RG's to play I could waste an hour or 2 playing this game and not bother to look for something to fill the void. Which means more money for Top Golf because I'm not good enough to win enough credits to supplement my ball costs and regularly spend money with them. Even though my profile suggests differently.

Again, thanks for your replies and regards Alan

If you have a smart phone or tablet play the mobile 'coin' game room no cost and they give you the coins to play with.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.

I have now found some games that suit me, even found an old game that the kids used to play called Zoombinis and that one alone will keep my brain working when set at the hardest level. Shame I couldn't find another Golf type game or similar.

This is the best game for me and I really enjoy it, but, I think there is room for bigger and better, that has not been explored by the owners, maybe cost or server capacity is the villain, I'm just a mushroom and have no idea.

Good luck to all. Appreciate your time.

    Cheers from Alan
